The mediums that I work in are acrylics, and fabric dyes. I paint on Natural fibers with color fast dyes & paint.

I have an extensive art background in commercial & fine arts.

My formal education began at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for fashion illustration and commercial art. At Carnegie Mellon University I studied painting and drawing. I earned a MFA in illustration from Syracuse University.  At the University of Minnesota, I learned the art of Japanese Rosome painting. I took part in a Healing Arts-In-Medicine Residency at the University of Buffalo. I studied graphics art at PCAD, Pennsylvania College of Art &Design.

I launched my career as a professional artist in Pittsburgh, illustrating for department stores, boutiques and advertising agencies.

Moving to York PA, and raising a family, I worked as a new products designer, graphic artist and assistant marketing director for a major gymnastics and dance manufacturer.

My career broaden into the fine arts and that open opportunities for site specific art installations, and gallery shows

While working as a fine artist I was asked to be part of a three artist team that designed and created a arts-in-medicine program at York Hospital's Mind Body Health Center. Translating art as a healing exercise was therapeutic for the patients and their families.

At Sight and Sound Theaters in Lancaster PA. I provided team leadership and supervised the painters.  I also created scenic set designs for Word of Life Theater in Hudson, Florida. At both organizations, I created large displays that produced striking visual effects.

I also created a fine arts gallery in upper state New York.  It was located in a beautiful grape vineyard at a winery. It was an opportunity to have a studio to create in, a gallery to display in and a teaching facility.

My work continued to evolve into the fine arts where I displayed my work in art galleries and at art shows, in the York, PA, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Atlanta,  and the New York areas.

My fine art now enhances the ambience of restaurants, health care facilities, corporate businesses, and private homes along the east coast

I continue to create site specific art for clients and organizations.
